What happens when a life-saving venous stent procedure takes an unexpected turn?
After a presentation by Vitor Mendes-Pereira about the issue to be discussed in this roundtable, Tudor C. Jovin presents a case with complications regarding a 21-year-old female with intracranial hypertension with bilateral hemodynamically significant transverse sinus stenosis intolerant to medical therapy who underwent right transverse sigmoid sinus stenosis. The procedure was complicated by a transient episode of near comatose state which rapidly improved without surgical decompression.
