On the occasion of World Stroke Day 2022, Dr. Rodrigo Rivera (Editor-in-chief of LINNC online) receives Prof. Sheila Martins (President-Elect of the World Stroke Day Organization) to talk about the current stroke situation around the world. Prof. Martins presents the challenge that Brazil has been facing for several years to develop stroke care systems and demonstrates that middle- and low-income countries can also build strategies to develop stroke care using the experience and support provided by the World Stroke Organization.
