Strahan TEOH (Australia) presents the case of a 53-year-old male smoker with no previous medical history. He presented with generalized tonic-clonic seizures lasting 2 minutes, which resolved spontaneously. On initial imaging, the team thought it might be a tumor, but MRI and ICA showed an ethmoidal dural arteriovenous fistula with a venous aneurysm.
From a range of treatment options, the team opted for endovascular trans-arterial embolization using the balloon pressure technique.
