The case presented by Omar CHOUDHRI (United-States) concerns a 63-year-old woman with no history of clotting disorders or head trauma. She presented with bothersome bilateral pulsatile tinnitus correlating with her heartbeat, which was worse at night, and complained of occasional ocular migraines. Imaging and further investigations revealed a rare dural arteriovenous fistula in the occipital sinus.
The surgical team decided to treat the patient with transvenous coil embolization.
