Microstroke after treatment of unruptured Anterior communicating artery aneurysm with a WEB: A case report

The case presented by Lixin Huang (Guangzhou) is of a 57-year-old woman who was found to have an unruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysm after undergoing a head CT and CTA for vertigo.

From the various options available to treat the patient, the surgical team chose WEB embolization. On day two post-op, the patient showed signs of microstroke, microhemorrhage, and microembolism, which were easily managed.
