Miku SUGAI (Japan) presents the case of a 79-year-old man with a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and home oxygen therapy. A few years ago, bilateral MCA aneurysms and a right ICA aneurysm were found. When he presented with difficulty opening his right eye, imaging showed growth in the right ICA aneurysm with a high risk of rupture. The MCA aneurysms remained stable.
Due to the patient's history of COPD, the medical team decided to treat only the ICA aneurysm with a flow-diverter stent.
