Incidental anterior communicating aneurysm treated with Artisse intrasaccular device

Last update on October 25, 2024

The patient is a 32-year-old woman with a dysthyroid disease and a family history of aneurysms. Because of this family history, she underwent an angiogram that revealed an anterior communicating artery aneurysm (ACom aneurysm) in the same location as her brother's.

This incidental aneurysm was treated with an intra-saccular flow disruptor, Artisse.
