At LINNC Paris 2024, Laurent Spelle presents the case of a 36-year-old woman with a history of hypertension and acute heart failure due to a hypertensive crisis. While hospitalized for metastatic malignant pheochromocytoma, she experienced dysarthria and right hemiparesis at midnight, which partially resolved. By 7:00 am, she was drowsy, mute, and had right hemiplegia. An MRI confirmed a stroke with distal occlusions in the M2 and M3 arteries.
