Is it sacrilege to treat a carotid siphon aneurysm with anything other than a flow diverter stent?

In this LINNC China 2022 session, let's look at the treatment of this 55-year-old, heavy smoker, obese female patient with HBP and sleep apnea, who presented to ER with severe headaches, and whose agio revealed an irregularly-shaped right PCom aneurysm, responsible for the bleeding.
