Multiple aneurysms on the left ICA treated with Flow Diverter

CASE PRESENTATION

  • 54 y/o female patient with headaches 
  • Smoker 
  • NCT negative 
  • CT angio shows multiple aneurysms on left ICA from ophthalmic region till M1 function
  • Medication: 5 days prior treatment double antiaggregation with clopidogrel and aspirin

TREATMENT APPROACH

  • It was decided to place Flow Diverter, Pipeline shield 4.0x20, to cover the whole segment with multiple aneurysms

 

 

 

RESULTS

  • After deployment, PTa was done to obtain proper wall apposition to the vessel wall, followed by DYNa CT to check
  • Findings were satisfactory and patient was discharged home without any new symptoms.
