Last update on October 25, 2023

Discover the case of a 47-year-old female who experienced a sudden, severe headache and vomiting. On examination, she scored E4V5M6, with H&H grade 2 and WFNS grade I. CT brain revealed a MFS grade IV SAH and CTA detected an aneurysm at the right A1 ACA-Acom junction. During stent-assisted coiling, an unexpected complication emerged as thrombosis developed within the stent. Repeated attempts to withdraw the entrapped microwire were unfruitful. Watch the case to discover how the team addressed this challenge!
