Transvenous treatment of a small cortical parietal ruptured AVM (SM II) with a non adhesive embolic liquid

The patient is a 51-year-old man with chronic alcoholism and active smoking. He presented with total aphasia, right hemiparesis, and hypoesthesia, with an NIHSS score of 14. Imaging showed a large brain hematoma and a small left parietal arteriovenous malformation (Spetzler-Martin II).

The patient is planned to be treated in the subacute phase (3 to 4 months after the bleeding) with transvenous embolization using EVOH.
