Speaker:

Zhiqiang Yao (Zhengzhou) presents the case of a 53-year-old woman with a sudden onset of headache and vomiting lasting three days. She has a history of hypertension and hepatitis B, but no history of cardiac or cerebrovascular disease.

Preoperative imaging suggested a subarachnoid hemorrhage and a complex ruptured basilar artery aneurysm. The diagnosis also included moyamoya disease and stage III hypertension.

The patient was treated with bilateral stent deployment using the Y-shaped stent technique, followed by coiling.
