Last update on March 21, 2019

Discover the case of a 49 years-old female with a recurrent AVM. In 2012, she suffered from a right frontal hematoma, revealing a lateral frontal AVM. From 2012 to 2014, she received 4 embolizations. However, she suffered from a seizure in March 2016. MRI revealed no bleeding, but a persistent AVM. How did Pr. Laurent Spelle and his team treat this case? Why not perform a transvenous embolization from the beginning, instead of starting with an arterial one?  Watch this case to find out!
