Last update on November 23, 2024
Speaker:

Wenhuo CHEN (Fuzhou) describes the case of a 70-year-old man who experienced repeated episodes of left limb weakness over four months.

Imaging revealed a chronic internal carotid artery occlusion, with an open posterior communicating artery (PCom), a closed anterior communicating artery (Acom), and a visible bilateral anterior cerebral artery (ACA).

To address the condition, the surgical team employed the BASIS technique combined with OCT.
