The following images showcase various WEB embolization treatments, highlighting the effectiveness of the Woven EndoBridge device in addressing complex intracranial aneurysms.
Unlike traditional coiling or stent-assisted methods, the WEB device offers a novel, intrasaccular approach that promotes thrombosis while minimizing procedural risks. These illustrations demonstrate its potential to treat wide-necked challenging cases including some acutely ruptured cases.
Case 1. Treatment of a small ruptured Acom aneurysm with one of the smallest WEB devices
This case illustrates the successful treatment of a small ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysm using the latest, smallest version of the WEB device. These challenging aneurysms, previously very difficult to treat due to their size and location, can now be addressed effectively.
Case 2. Treatment of an ultra-small, ruptured MCA aneurysm with challenging anatomy
In this case, an ultra-small ruptured aneurysm presented a significant challenge due to the steep angle between the aneurysm axis and the parent artery. Despite the anatomical complexity, the latest generation of the WEB device—capable of being delivered through a 17 microcatheter—enabled successful treatment. This advancement allows precise deployment in difficult-to-reach aneurysms, ensuring safe occlusion while maintaining stability within the parent vessel.
Case 3. Treatment of an extremely wide-neck MCA aneurysm
This video showcases the treatment of a middle cerebral artery aneurysm with an extremely wide neck, a case nearly impossible to address with other endovascular techniques. Thanks to the WEB device’s ability to conform to wide-necked aneurysms, it was deployed effectively to achieve stable occlusion and perfect neck sealing without the need for adjunctive devices like stents or balloons.
