The world of neurosurgery has just lost one of its most brilliant and prestigious contributors and the human brain has lost an artist in vascular surgery. At the LINNC, we had the pleasure of admiring the artist at work, during neurosurgical operations broadcast live. Juha's mastery pierced the screen and transcended the audience. Juha was a star of neurosurgery, and neurosurgery inhabited him to the point of blinding him. The development of Interventional Neuroradiology was an offence to his passion when he sensed that the cerebral aneurysm was going to escape him. We must strongly respect and salute the man, the exceptional neurosurgeon, his passion and neurosurgery his religion.

Le monde de la Neurochirurgie vient de perdre l’un de ses contributeurs les plus brillants et les plus prestigieux et le cerveau humain a perdu un artiste en chirurgie vasculaire. Au LINNC nous avons eu le bonheur et le plaisir d’admirer l’artiste dans son oeuvre, lors des interventions neurochirurgicales retransmises en direct. La maestria de Juha transperçait l’écran et transcendait l’auditoire. Juha était une étoile de la Neurochirurgie et la Neurochirurgie l’habitait au point de l’aveugler. Le développement de la Neuroradiologie Interventionnelle fut une offense à sa passion lorsqu’il pressentit que l’anévrisme cérébral allait lui échapper. Nous devons respecter et saluer avec force l’homme, le Neurochirurgien d’exception, sa passion et la Neurochirurgie sa religion.
